Safe Haven
Sheets of Support
Now - October 15, 2026
In recognition of the GFWC International Day of Service, the Woman’s Club of Woodbury will collect new, unused twin sheet sets to donate to Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury. Safe Haven is a nonprofit agency that provides year-round support and protection for victims of domestic violence.
Please donate only new twin sheet sets in their original packaging. WCW members may bring donations to the September or October monthly meeting. The general public may drop off donations at the Woodbury Community (Senior) Center. Sheets will be collected through October 15, 2026. Thank you for your generosity and support.
Holiday Baskets
December 10, 2026
Each December members of the Woman’s Club of Woodbury spend a day creating lovely Holiday Kindling Baskets. Each basket is individually designed from live holiday greenery and decorated with handmade ribbons and holiday decor. These baskets go on sale on the day of the house tour and are popular tradition to the house tour.
This year our basket making will take place on Thursday, December 10th, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Orenaug Fire Department, 25 Quassuk Road.
